Merapi - (2020)
started as an academical project for the Bachelor in Production and Technologies of Music at ESMAE (Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo) in Porto, Portugal. It then involved into my first single and videoclip as part of The Greatest View project.
I wanted to capture an hostile environment through sound in an electronic beat, and a stock video of the Merapi volcano inspired me to do this. After having Produced Mixed and Mastered the music in Ableton Live I decided to start joining some ideias for a videoclip in Final Cut Pro. Once I got a video ideia that I was happy about I asked my good friend Diogo Miranda to make it standout.

The Greatest View is a musical project that arises from the manipulation of unusual sounds in a warm electronic music beat. It is an immersive and engaging aesthetic that simulates an unusual environment and results in the captivation and awakening of the listeners' curiosity.
